Alan B. Connors, 60, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Born in Rahway and a former resident of Bound Brook, Alan resided in Bridgewater since 1980. Mr. Connors is a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam Era. Alan had owned and operated the Alan & Son Car Care Center in Branchburg for the past 23 years. He enjoyed playing Texas hold'em with his family and friends and he cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Alan is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Christine Seibel Connors; his loving children, Alan B. (Lori) Connors, Jr. of Bridgewater, Cindy Ann (Kenneth) Struzinski of Greenwich Township, and Kathleen (Mark) Filardi of Denver, CO; his four grandchildren, Anthony and Michael Connors, and Joseph and Christopher Struzinski; his dear mother, Beatrice Ambrose of Bridgewater; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will begin at 9 AM on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 followed by a 10 AM Funeral Liturgy at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Route 28, Bridgewater. Viewing hours are Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
