Comment: Joined USMC out of high school and served two tours in Vietnam with the 1st Marine Airwing. Returned to join my father with his plumbing business. Worked for Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory for nearly 20 years with their emergency services unit. Studied firefighting and worked with the FDNY, Engine 54 Pride of Midtown and Rescue 5 out of Staten Island. At home in Flemington worked the ranks up to Chief with the Flemington Fire Company. Moved to Maine for retirement were my wife Margie and I divide our time between our home on the Midcoast and a lake home in the Belgrade Lakes area. Our son Austin and his wife have just blessed us with their second lovely child, so we are very happy being grandparents. I have enjoyed playing the drums for 59 years now and still going strong! |

I retired in 2009, moving from my home on the prairie in Carson City, Nevada to an adult Disneyworld in Florida. After one (1) child, two (2) wonderful careers and three (3) "book worthy" marriages, I now sleep with dogs (as a sitter), play games and drive everywhere in my golf cart. Everyday is Saturday and life is good. Reminiscing about high school days and all my friends makes me smile. Those were the days. |

50 Years ?!?!? WOW……. After receiving my BA and MA in Music Education from Trenton State College, I started the string program in South Plainfield Public Schools in 1974. It is still a strong and thriving program to this day! – of which I am very proud. In 2007, I retired from South Plainfield after 33 years! Additionally, I taught violin and piano privately, sang in the Calvary Episcopal Church ( Flemington ) Choir, served on their vestry and made a loving home to my husband and daughter. In 1984 I married Gordon Tedeschi, a music teacher in East Brunswick, and we will celebrate our 34th anniversary this year! In 1990 Gordon and I adopted, from Taiwan, our beautiful daughter Jennifer. She was 3 months old when we brought her home. Jennifer graduated from East Brunswick HS, Rutgers and George Washington University and presently works in Washington DC. I spent many a cold Saturday with her as she was honing her figure skating skills in Bridgewater. She lives in Olney, MD with her husband Shawn, stepson Robert and two 90lb Labradoodles – Benji and Charley. Gordon and I presently live in Manning, South Carolina. We are both still actively involved in music. I still sing in the church choir, Gordon plays with a community orchestra in Summerville ( when you can get him off the golf course ), we partner up for several weddings each year, and if we are not doing those things you will probably find us at DisneyWorld!! If you would like to keep in touch….GJTedeschi@aol.com. |

I married Bill Tompsett during my last year of college in 1972. We moved to Chicago in 1977 and have been here ever since. We raised three kids on the South Side and recently moved into a high-rise on Lake Michigan. We have twin granddaughters in suburban Toledo and two grandsons in Philadelphia, and we visit them every few months. Our youngest is still in grad school at Ohio State. We have been retired for almost ten years now and have been doing a lot of traveling around the globe. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at reunion and checking out the changes in Hunterdon County. |

Comment: Mike and I lived and raised our two sons in Clinton Twp until Mike retired in 2013, at which time we moved down here to Wilmington, NC. We miss our friends, the beauty and the seasons of Hunterdon Co. It was a big move for us but we love our new life near the beach and with so many wonderful new friends. We hope to see many of you in June! |

Lynn and I started dating the summer after graduation. We both thought it would just be a summer thing since we were going our separate ways in the fall. Well, that summer thing turned into a marriage of 46+ years, two boys, Marcus and David, and a pretty good time along the way. I worked as an Accountant/Budget Analyst for a major pharmaceutical company for 13+ years, was downsized in the late '80's and then spent 22+ years with the I.R.S.(Don't worry, I'm with the government and I'm here to help you). I retired as of 12/31/2012 and a little over a month later we moved to Wilmington, N.C. We love it here and if any of you are in the area, our door is always open and we have a spare room waiting. |
